Why so many Real Estate agents are using iMovie for Marketing

Pams VAS Pam's VAS News and Updates

I remember, only about 10 years back, having to pull the antenna up on my cell phone when receiving calls from clients. Speeding back to the office to check my email and fax machine.

Technology has come a long way since then, especially in the video department. Since youtube is the 2nd largest (or most popular) site on the internet, it shouldn’t be a surprise that many agents are taking advantage of that type of media and on those media platforms.

So, do you use video in your real estate marketing, or simply to communicate quickly with your clients? Whether it be to impress a potential seller to get their listing, or to impress a buyer into working solely with you, it’s a great idea, and so easy to do with the latest available apps for your iPhone, iPad or mac. Oh, and yes, there are even similar apps for your android, if you are a droid user.

iMovie (apple devices) and Clesh Video (for androids)

Video is the perfect medium to communicate and inform your busy clients. Let’s say a listing pops up at 9am and your clients are at work till 5:00 and can’t get there to see the property till about 6:00. Why not shoot a video for them, while you (or your assistant) view the property that morning. In about 5 minutes you can shoot, edit and send an iMovie to them, via drop box preferably (the easiest way to send large video files, I think). This act may just prompt them to take a long lunch to see the property and sign an offer too. Woo Hoo!!

Thats only 1 scenario on how using iMovie on your apple device can make a big impact on your work day and on your clients. Really think about so many other ways to use this easy and quick app to benefit your real estate business.

If you use an android device, just search for Clesh Video.

And… Here is the best how-to video on sending your iMovie from your mobile device to DropBox so you can send your videos to your clients within minutes, seamlessly. –

P.S. Drop Box has a free account too.

Have fun and enjoy this new way to impress your clients.
