Congrats to Rhonda for Receiving November’s VA in the Spotlight!
Huge congrats to Rhonda for receiving November’s Virtual Assistant (VA) in the Spotlight! Rhonda has been a VA with Pam’s VAS for almost a year now. While battling health issues alongside her mom, and never-ending custody issues with her daughter, Rhonda has proven to be a driven, hard worker , who is able to keep a balance in her life without letting one aspect consume it. Rhonda’s ability to be present in both her job and her life outside of Pam’s VAS has enabled her to effectively manage her time, resulting in her accomplishment of being nominated as November’s VA in the Spotlight.
When asked what she enjoys most about being a VA with Pam’s VAS, “What don’t I like about my job – it’s flexible, a casual environment and friendly staff,” said Rhonda. She also stated that she enjoys new challenges and loves working for appreciative people. That’s exactly the type of environment she found here at Pam’s VAS. “The agents I work with are awesome supporters and give constant appraisal for completed items. They are truly appreciative when you help them because they realize that is one more item they don’t have to do.”
When Rhonda was asked to describe her duties and daily routine at Pam’s VAS, she responded, “I check and reply to emails, check REO sites and complete tasks. I bill the REO companies for reimbursements and call to turn on/off power for properties. I also order estoppels, handle HOA’s, take care of property violations, citations, or fines on properties so my agent can successfully close his escrows. And of course, I keep him updated with statuses as much as possible.”
We also asked her to share something interesting about herself with us, and she began by sharing her favorite animal –a koala. When not working, Rhonda can be found spending time with Family & Friends; watching a good movie, listening to 80’s music, and enjoying sand between her toes during a sunny day at the beach. On rare occasions, she enjoys a game of Black Jack; however, Rhonda exclaimed, “Playing with my grand-daughter and hearing her laugh is my greatest past time!”
When asked what made her want to become a VA, she answered, “I enjoy the flexibility it offers and the freedom to work from home.” We asked Rhonda if she had any advice for someone who was interested in becoming a VA, she responded, “Plan on not showering until the end of the business day and never eating Breakfast or Lunch on time because there will always be just ‘1 more email’ that you need to reply too.” After sharing a laugh, Rhonda went on to say “Help people out when they need it, do your job well, be punctual and excel on customer service!”
Of course we could not forget to ask if there was anything Rhonda would change here at Pam’s VAS, “There is really nothing I could change. Pam is always open to suggestions and tries her best to meet any, if not all, requests. She is empathetic towards the needs of her VA’s, but at the same time assertive to enforce what needs to be enforced.”
Rhonda’s spunky personality always resonates with clients and other VA’s, making her a wonderful addition to the Pam’s VAS team. Thank you Rhonda for all of your hard work! Again, we would like to congratulate Rhonda for receiving November’s VA in the Spotlight. Congratulations Rhonda!!
